These are a set of unusually shaped houses seen from Blaak metro station.Its apparently based on an idea that each house is like a tree and all houses together become a forest.The cube houses are all attached to each other and are tilted at 45 degrees. It has 3 floors and definitely watrants a visit. One of Rotterdam's best.

Cube houses (Dutch: kubuswoningen) are a set of innovative houses built in Helmond and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of "living as an urban roof": high density housing with sufficient space on the ground level, since its main purpose is to optimise the space inside.
